We had an amazing time staying here! Pictures don’t do this place justice. Upon arrival of the land, you drive through an off-road path through luscious trees and green fields. Then once you park, you’ll have to walk to the tent but the walk alone is gorgeous, amongst beautiful green plants and passing the waterfall, you truly are immersed in all of nature’s glory. We brought our mini poodle mixed dog who’s only 13 pounds with us, and he loved it just as much as we did! This tent location is on a slant but is deeper in the woods surrounded by a rock wall behind it and a river stream in front of it. The landscape around it will make you not want to leave. We hiked the trail near the parking area which started up a steep hill but the view was worth it in the end. We came across a variety of beautiful mushrooms that we’ve never seen before, sighted a gorgeous crane, and even a little toad. There were a lot of fallen branches that you’ll have to maneuver around during the hike (most likely from the storm earlier that week) but once you get to the top of the rock, it’s a gorgeous view. The tent location is just a 5-8 minute drive into town, where they have cute local restaurants and shops you can visit!
