We chose this item because the available alternatives seemed cheap and flimsly. We were not disappointed. It came packed extremely well and the instructions, save one part, were VERY CLEAR. The only confusion we had was the final step to install the folding doors. The FIRST thing is to attach them to EACH RESPECTIVE END (CORNER) THEN the middle (the instructions did not specify this step). I did not do this and it resulted in me having to REMOVE one side and reattach it with some minor scratching invovled (damm screwdriver!) It's a beautiful piece and anyone would be proud to have this piece prominently displayed in their home.
