To date this is the best wing foil board I have tried and owned, I have now used the Comet SW 5'1 for few sessions and loving it, the board is very short but stable for a 100l, the thick nose once you know where to place your hands and knees to climb up really helps with longitudinal stability. Super easy to get on the foil, pump once and you are straight up, it glide very well despite the short length even at first speed just before going up on the foil and the shape really helps with touches in choppy conditions, if feels light and lively under your feet and will no doubt help me progress with my foiling in the months to come. I could honestly have gone one size smaller but wanted to keep some floating security as my home spot can be on off occasionally, and the 100L will help with that, personally I think the short board length as less impact than the volume for the control once in the air and the comet SW certainly feels like it delivers the best of both worlds. The deck pad is very good, thinner and less comfortable perhaps than standard diamond shape types, but it feels less absorbent so no added weight when the board/pad is wet, but watch your knees when you learn, no so much an issue when you have more experience, Oh and the board looks great in blue and Grey . I would highly recommend to any one who wants a performant short board without loosing to much volume to progress without having to change boards in 6 months time. LOVE IT!
