Bought both the screamer and whipsmart. Initially used the screamer stand but switched to a hidden “tie down” ceiling mounted strap. Paid a little extra for an anti rattle version tie down to reduce noise. Discretion is a must with my wife, but putting together and dissembling the stand was a mood killer for me honestly. Wife is plus size, as predicted the whipsmart was too narrow but we really like the bar and the quieter spring. After learning what we liked I created a bar similar to whip smart for the screamer. The screamer bar was going to be out of stock for 6 weeks when I made my purchases. We have a higher ceiling, for fun I added a remote controlled “hoist” that makes height adjustments easy. The bar can be used for either screamer or whip smart. Wife prefers the screamer webbing and padding. We had so much fun experimenting and had some great sessions. No regrets purchasing extra gear to try and made some very fun memories. Now I am working to add more sound reduction to the room. So the wife can relax and enjoy to the “fullest” at anytime of the day. Wife was initially a strong “hell no” when she saw the boxes but was willing to try with the non permanent stand. You could almost see her thinking “Las Vegas” with an obnoxious eye hook permanently installed in the room. She did not want to discuss our activities with our older children. She quickly changed her mind after trying the screamer and gave approval for a discrete hidden tie down mount. I cover the mount with a broken WiFi access point that blends in with the ceiling. I use an rare earth magnet (30lbs force) to attach the access point while not in use. This has been a very fun purchase!
