"I read about red-light therapy in a news article on MSNBC. I then did some research on products which led me to PlatinumLED. This was my first red-light product purchase, but I wanted the largest I could get so I could do my whole body. I ended up purchasing the BioMax 900 and I am so glad I did. I also bought and read "The Ultimate Guide to Red Light Therapy" while I was waiting for my order to arrive. Received my BioMax 900 on Monday, May 2, set it up on the back of a door and had my first session. I have a few reasons I wanted to start using red-light therapy one of which is the lower back pain I suffer from because of osteoarthritis. I know it is supposed to take a while before realizing the many benefits of red-light therapy, but I have experienced a remarkable "breakthrough" after my third session (doing 10 minutes in front of the body and 10 minutes back of the body). Because of the deterioration of the cartilage in my lower back, I have not been able to "pop" my lower back in years. This is very frustrating as it feels the need to pop but can't do it no matter how I stretch or bend. Also, gives me dull aching pain continuously and especially when bending over or putting on my shoes, etc. So last night while sitting in my chair at the computer, just out of habit, I twisted in the chair to stretch my back and felt a "pop" in my lower back. That was the most glorious feeling in the world. I immediately felt relief and was able to bend over, put on my shoes, and bend down without any pain. And this was after only three treatments (once per day). I walked around the house last night with a big smile on my face just going around picking up things and twisting around. My range of motion increased as well. I know it should work this well this fast, but the red-light sessions are the only thing I've done differently. Being able to "pop" my back and bend and stretch like that after years of pain is worth the price of the red-light panel. I look forward to much more from my light sessions going forward.
