My Union 6 seater L-shaped sectional in charcoal chenille (wish there were more color options!) is very handsome--the large frame is sturdy, seat cushions are firm in the core but plush on the outside, and the deep seats allow for plenty of "curl up" space. Time will tell if the "pet friendly" fabric will live up to it's claim against my cat's claws. That being said...I'm sorry to say I'm not convinced it was worth the trouble of having to put it together. While the instructions are clear and the design straight forward and well planned, the pieces are large and awkward to maneuver. I'm fiercely independent and an experienced furniture assembler (IKEA has nothing on me!) but getting the pieces to line up exactly and bolt together was impossible by myself; and still took several hours after I called in support. Even after assembled, I still can't manage to fully lock one of the seatback levers after multiple adjustments. It did arrive very quickly--just a few days after ordering. However, delivery wasn't ideal as the 15 boxes arrived in three shipments over the span of a week. So my living room was in disarray for quite some time waiting on the necessary parts--and buried under boxes. Bottom line, unless you TRULY need a modular sofa, I wouldn't recommend it over a traditional design that comes delivered and assembled.
