When I was 14 I bought a used Remington 760 in .308 and harvested a good many deer through the 80’s and 90’s. I then bought a Ruger 7MM Remington Mag and the .308 sat for some time. Now that I am 55 I am going to get the old .308 back out. I upgraded the gun with a new EGW Picatinny Rail and EGW Keystone High Rise 30 MM Rings. Is it overkill….. Absolutely. The gun smith that mounted the scope was looking to do the same to his 760 30-06 and took the all the contact info to do the same. I can’t wait to get it out in November!!
