The most unusual bar i’v had in a while. There’s only been two bars recently I’ve sat back and thought ‘oh eck, that’s unexpected’ and this is one of them. It captures the flavour complexity of avocados well, and somehow simultaneously combines it with the chocolate. It feels weird as a chocolate bar and a vegetable combination (actually Avocados are fruits), yet its wonderful and feels quite natural. Why hasn’t it been done before? The chocolate provides the berry and cocoa notes; the avocado the herb and grass; and both a fruitiness that marries the two together. Its fresh and floral, yet somehow roasted and biscuity. It just works.
