My new shade is perfect on my metal floor lamp - it is beautifully made, looks really good, and the warm light it gives is beautiful all round my lounge, not too pale and not too cream! Plus it's just right for reading. I actually bought it to use as a table lamp but 40cm looks too big and being lower down, it only lit a small area.
