The Lamy CP1 Ballpoint pen is extremely well manufactured. Like the Lamy Unic ballpoint from the 1990s this pen is sturdy enough to last for decades of use. It is a fashion to speak of 'pens for life' and immediately charged 100's of pounds - this pen will supply the same quality of build and use for a quarter of the cost. I use either the medium or broad M16 refill... writes smoothly. After ten years of use I deliberately took off the paint off the pen on the left...
