I’m pleased with the design. Bought the same awning in 2021 and had some growing pains with the wind in Arizona seeing how I’m from California. The old design had weaker spreader bars which caused a collapse from the wind and realized that the front of the awning needed to be anchored down also so the unit wouldn’t wrap around the roof. The new awning has beefed up spreader bars with the new design and again anchor the front with strong bungee cords. Very happy with this unit!!!!!
