I haven't finished the handgun yet, but as of the frame, it's pretty cool. It fits my medium sized hands pretty well for being a .45acp. And, Arm or Ally, sold it for the best price I've seen anywhere online. If you're new to the site like I was, you can trust it. I did have a few gripe's about the product however, but have since been corrected. Firstly, the dreaded nightmare scenario: the drilled holes didn't seem to line up correctly for the pins to run through. I drilled them as perfectly as possible, yet the trigger housing holes and the trigger holes didn't line up right. Well, I did some minor finagling with the hand drill and managed to get them to fit the pins extremely tightly without looking all bubba F'd up. Second problem, this thing only accepts gen 3 style mag release's which are kinda thin and sharp around the edge's. The frame cannot, I repeat, cannot be modified to fit the gen 4 style. Solution: The Vicker's extended mag release is a dream on this frame. Don't bother with the Lone Wolf extended release, it's instant garbage, unless you like a mag button that reaches past your knuckle. Finally, the third issue I had with this frame: I ended up not liking the trigger guard front strap. I typically shoot with a support finger wrapped around the front strap, and this one sucks for doing that even though it appears to be made for it at first glance. Nope. It's a very slippery and small space up there. I decided to dremel down a more squar'ish front strap to fit my support finger. It's much more comfortable now. Now that those are out of the way, I'm excited to turn this frame into a Robocop monstrosity with a longslide and red dot sight. I'm pretty happy with the project so far.
