Since fracturing my patella in 2016, Newton shoes are the only road shoes which I can comfortably run in. New Running did me a deal on Newton Fate shoes so that I had some backup pairs for Spartathlon 2017. 30 hours and 10 minutes, 153 miles of tarmac later, I completed the run with no knee issues, first British female and 8th female overall!
