Pets Pyjamas recommended this hotel as we're new dog owners and it was to be our first break with our dog. They are so dog friendly at the Mill End Hotel it was an absolute pleasure. We arrived a few hours early for check-in time but this allowed us to sit in the gardens with a cream tea before taking our boy on a walk. When the Hotel says there are walks on the doorstep they aren't kidding. Beautiful gentle walks and harder walks/hikes are literally 3 minutes walk from the hotel. Whilst dogs must be kept on a lead whilst in the gardens there is a beautiful secure paddock for off lead runs and fun right beside the hotel. The bedroom was so clean and comfy and great bathroom. Comfy beds, tea and coffee making facilities also. Also a little gift box for the dog. The hotel has a boot room for the dogs with a shower, towels and other necessities . The evening meal, in fact all the meals were top class. The Staff (sorry I forget names) were superb and so welcoming. We WILL be back!
