The Elephant Hotel exceeded our expectations. In fact despite the road works and weather conditions it really was the perfect getaway. A warm welcome on arrival with a glass of Prosecco is always an excellent start. A very clean and comfortable garden room ideal for us an our small Yorkie; goodie bag for the dog was fabulous. Dinner at The Herd restaurant on site was excellent; a real fine dining experience. We slept very well and took some small walks around the area. We'd definitely return in the future, bravo.
