When i put it in, it was so awesome it looked like it didn't exist! However, after one fire, it was completely covered in black soot. I cleaned and tried different wood. Tried a few things. It gets black SOOO easily. Disappointed with that part. Seems pretty solid though. Fit perfectly too.
