The quality of the mat is excellent and means my preferred cutting tool (scalpel with Swann Morton 10a blade) does not blunt nearly as quickly, thus reducing need for replacement blades. Cuts are more precise, too. It's great having a white semi-opaque surface covery such a large work area, as it doesn't swallow light, like dark green mats do. Just brilliant.
