My 6 year old lacked confidence and wouldn’t sound things out. He would flat out refuse to read. We’ve only had our Ello books two days and he woke me up this morning saying “thank you for my books mom, can I go read them now?”
And now you’re probably thinking that he didn’t actually say that because it sounds ridiculous and too good to be true. But I swear it actually happened! It’s wild.
