I have crashed this wheel numerous and never have I had to put a tool to it. It is tougher than I am. Soon I will need to replace the tire but it has been trouble-free from day one. I may be affected by ewheel's battery recall where they as the distributor are replacing all possibly dangerous packs that may spontaneously combust without manufacturer's support. What an amazing company to stand behind their customers at large costs to them. Respect
