I had been wanting a cable machine for a while as it’s something that can target all muscle groups. It’s also the most hogged piece of equipment at the gym (at least at mine). I bought the short version and it’s still pretty darn tall. I’m a 5’1 girl and I was able to put it together by myself. Took a few hours. Giving it 4 stars because there is a flaw with the instructions.. they’re not complete. Meaning there’s parts that should be in the process and aren’t. Another big thing is when you’re putting the wheels (the things you put the wire through not sure of the name) in the instructions it makes you think you’re supposed to assemble first with bolts and screws but if you do that you can’t put the wire through after. You want to assemble the frame first. You’ll need a ladder I. Order to get up there and put the wire and the wheels in place at the same time. You’ll also need the at least 2 wrenches. Other than that you WILL need the proper screws if you plan on bolting it to the wall like I did. I come from a construction family so we have all kinds of tools, the average person will have to purchase. I bought body solid brand plates from a different site because they were sold out here. The motion is pretty smooth when you’re using it. Does kind of feel like you need to lube it up a bit but the wheels are made of plastic so keep that in mind. All in all sooo happy with my purchase. I bought a cardio machine as well so honestly I see myself canceling my gym membership. It comes with 2 attachments. I already had several attachments I used at the gym because the communal ones are nasty.
