“We were searching for a left handed catchers glove without much success when a member of the sales team at Dicks sporting goods suggested 44 Gloves. Glad they did because the glove is of great quality and style. Thanks 44 gloves . Go PAC Baseball!!!! Rochester NY”
“I bought two outfielders gloves for my boys and a catchers glove for my oldest son. They have had the outfielder gloves for three years and they are amazing. They broke in great and have been the best glove they’ve ever owned. The catchers glove is just as awesome. The customization options and quality is great for the price. I have also bought bats and batting gloves. They are all wonderful products. 44 is the way to go for baseball equipment. Hopefully one day they will start doing catchers gear and batting helmets.”
“Love the glove but the Velcro for the wrist strap doesn’t like to stick together after only a couple weeks of breaking in. Other than that the quality is great.”
“My 12 year old son was very disappointed in his custom glove. It ended up coming in very large and he won’t be able to comfortably use it for probably 5 years. Partly user error but it’s definitely bigger than my Mizuno of the same “size”
I bought a custom catchers glove and it is excellent, well made, currently working on the break in process”
“High level catcher’s mitt with Japanese Kip leather. Leather is sound and light weight. Very maneuverable mitt for blocking. I am still getting a feel for it for framing but anticipate it working well given it’s is so light. Durability can only be tested over time. I have used the MLB brand “HOH” for the last 10+ years which is a solid mitt IMO, but is much thicker and much heavier. So we will see if there are trade offs. That said, my 44 is very tight around my pinky finger when closing. Hoping this loosens up as the mitt breaks in more and will continue to adjust the wrist strap to see if this alleviates it without compromising control. Thumb loop/section is better than prior mitts even for off center receiving. I don’t have large hands but they wider than average in the palm so that may have something to do with this and I am not catching for guys throwing that hard (80 mph max). If I had to do over, I would have gotten a 34” instead of a 33.5”. Overall, a great looking mitt and great sounding mitt when receiving the ball. I would highly recommend giving 44 a try.”
