This is my second 44 glove and I could not be more satisfied with them. The C2 was quick to break in and became my gamer almost immediately. I have received many compliments on this glove and surprises when they find out it was custom made for the price. Incredible value, superior quality, best bang for your buck available. If this glove ever needs replacing I will buy another one without hesitation.

After 20+ years of playing baseball and softball, I’ve owned and used 20+ gloves, and unfortunately, the 44 Pro Custom Outfield C2 12.50 is easily one of the worst gloves I’ve ever owned. I specifically ordered a 12.50" softball glove because I assumed it would have the characteristics you typically expect from a softball-specific glove—shorter-feeling fingers, a wider pocket, and a design that plays smaller and more controlled than a traditional large outfield glove. Unfortunately, that was not my experience at all. This glove is massive. It plays much more like a 13"–13.5" glove than a 12.50". For me, playing 3B, that makes a huge difference. The glove feels cumbersome, difficult to control, and simply too large for the position. I tried to give it a fair chance, but the more I used it, the more I realized it just wasn't working for me. The leather is also just okay. I wouldn't call it terrible, but I would describe it as mediocre at best. For the price, I expected considerably more. Ultimately, I went out and purchased a 12.25" Rawlings Heart of the Hide KB17, and the difference has been night and day. The KB17 fits, plays, and performs exactly how I need it to at 3B, and the overall quality is significantly better in my experience. I really wanted to like the 44 Pro glove. I gave it plenty of opportunity, but eventually I had to admit that it simply wasn't a glove I could live with. As a player, coach, and parent, I have a hard time recommending 44 Pro based on this experience. There are better options available for only a little more money, and in my opinion, spending that extra money is absolutely worth it. Unfortunately for 44 Pro, this experience has also cost them future business. I have two daughters playing travel softball who both need new gloves, and I had also planned on purchasing a new catcher’s mitt for my Little League team. Those would have been additional 44 Pro purchases I was seriously considering. At this point, however, I won't be purchasing those gloves from 44 Pro. I don't write many negative reviews, and I genuinely wanted to like this glove. But when you've played for 44 years and have used more than 20 gloves, you know when something just isn't right. For me, this glove simply missed the mark.

This was my 3rd 44 pro. The first two i ordered were ordered with the standard 50-50 break-in and still took quite a bit of work to soften up. The newest I ordered with the game ready designation. It was just as stiff as the 50-50 gloves. You need to work-in the 80-20 gloves a lot more before shipping them. Other than that, they are very nice quality and a real value, especially when buying during your numerous discount specials. They are the glove I recommend when asked. Keep up the good work.

My 44 glove is of the very top quality. The crafstmanship is outstanding. It is also a very beautiful glove. I used a Wilson A2000 for years so I know what a top of the line glove should be. 44 gloves are every bit as good as both the Wilson A2000 and the Rawlings Heart of the Hide. The communication beginning with the time of order and delivery was excellent.
