Great at signalling when traffic is approaching from behind

One of the best gadgets for my bike! Integration with Karoo (3) is really good and intuitive.

It’s great to ride knowing a vehicle is coming up to overtake rather than finding out when it flies past you often at speed without warning.

Basically love it! I'm a recent convert to cycling via triathlon and haven't ridden a bike for probably 40 years, the Varia paired with a head unit has been a game changer for me, I am reasonably confident riding on the road but at higher speeds or windy days affecting hearing being surprised by a car at your elbow at ~60k can be a bit of a shock. With the Varia I always know what's behind me, it picks up cars, motorcycles, and even faster cyclists closing on you, 3 months in there have been no false positives, no missed vehicles even on group rides, it appears able to see through the bunch and still pick up closing cars. I would have prefered usbc and longer battery life (apparently 7 hours is the max) but I just charge appropriately so these are minor gripes.

It's a must-have if you are a road Cyclist. I am impressed by the accuracy and brightness of the light. My only downside would be the mount, you need to buy another one to secure it and not lose it in the future, apart from that, it is a great light for safety, light day and to be seen on busy roads.

Before having this I cannot imagine have to spend money on it. After having one now, I cannot riding without it. It keeps the rider safe and assured of vehicles coming from the back. Light was visible from afar. Try it and you will never ride without it.
