“Great product, I come from wahoo but I was trying to match the rest of my equipment so moved to Garmin ecosystem full. Easy to use and setup, sensors work fine and also easy to mount.”
“After thoroughly doing my research on getting my first ever bike copmuter, I settled for the Garmin Edge 840. At first, this device was way too overwhelming, packed with many features I never thought a bike copmuter could provide. Took about a month to set it up and I have now used it on 3 to 4 rides to get the hang of it.
For those whole like to monitor their data for pefromance or goal tracking, a bike copmuter is a very handy tool. My only drawback is that i am used to google maps on an iPhone for navigating, so to navitage on a smaller 840 edge is very small, but i will get used to it.
The free Climb pro feature on the 840 series is awesome. You can really know when to push and when to pace youself”
“Got the Edge 840 bundle when prices dropped pre 850 release. Shipped really quickly. Awesome bit of equipment. Took a little bit of mucking around to set up- there is definitely a knack to connect to garmin express on Mac to update maps and firmware. Once set up, elite piece of equipment.”
“Very well made unit and does everything plus more that I require. Easy setup and readout is good in full light. Great feature to connect to phone and receive messages whilst riding
Great price as a bundle”
