Opera Media Console Reviews

Opera is a modern media console designed for home theater enthusiasts and those who would like them to keep their enthusiasm out of sight. The slatted accordion doors are acoustically transparent, so you can keep them closed while enjoying pure, unmuffled audio from your soundbar, perched conveniently on the full-width shelf. The long, low profile is perfectly proportionate to today's big TVs, while the contemporary design keeps your living room looking clean.

The assembly process was easy and the packaging was very well done. The unit looks sleek and nice in our living room and I like how easy it is to route cords throughout the unit.

We have a little baby so all the AV equipment needs to not be exposed. I bought this online after a friend sent me a link. I have a Yamaha TSR7850, pretty standard receiver. and the console is not deep enough to accomodate it. No audiophile receivers will fit... I really wish it were 2" deeper! a simple market survey of the median depths of most receivers would have told your designers to make it deeper. However, in the spirit of fixing problems, i was able to use a jigsaw to cleanly extend the size of the bottom hole, so that the receiver fits, even though posts and cables poke out of the back. With this modification it has been working well. I have a PS5 in there, and on the 2 occasions where i was able to use it, nothing overheated. A center channel speaker sits inside the console, and sound is perfectly acceptable. I do want to say the unit was EXQUISITELY packaged. i have never seen such care taken to not use plastic and styrofoam, there were 4 tiny pieces of styrofoam. so thanks guys for thinking about the environment. it would have had 5 stars if it was 2" deeper and fit most AV equipment.

Excellent quality, well designed and easy to assemble, very well-packaged. Our only complaint and loss of one star was a result of the nightmare we had removing all of the awful, poor quality paper stickers that are adhered to almost every piece. Took longer to remove the stickers than it did to assemble the furnitere, as the stickers tear immediately, and we didn't want to risk using an adhesive remover on the brand new finish. Burrow, spend a few extra cents and use vinyl stickers with a quality adhesive!

It’s really nice to have a tv stand that allows remotes to work through the doors. This piece is solid and beautifully made. Unfortunately the doors do not smoothly open and close. And more unfortunate than that when I reached out to customer service they essentially told me to open the doors from the center despite my explaining that the whole track wasn’t functioning smoothly.
