It's the sleeper sofa that works the day and night shift with equal grace. First things first: Shift makes for a stylish, supportive couch that can fit just about anywhere, because this is Burrow, and so of course it comes in easy-to-manage boxes that you can fit up steep stairs and through narrow doors. But it really shines when you have guests: the seat unfolds to make a genuine queen-sized sleep surface, and the arm cushion inserts can be removed and slipped into standard pillowcases, saving space in your linen closet. With Shift, you're truly be the host with the most.

“I like my new sofa, overall. I hope that it ends up being a sturdy piece that will last years. The only issue I had was the way that me and my friend had such a hard time constructing the sofa. I guess the problem was that the instructions were too simplistic. I like simple parts and instructions, these didn't give enough detail and parts could have been labeled better. Maybe a video would be helpful.”

“Hello. We were excited when we ordered and received our Burrow Shift Sleeper Sofa. It wasn't hard to assemble. But once assembled and set up we have been disappointed with how uncomfortable it has been to simply sit on. It is not that comfortable to sleep on either, although slightly better than a traditional sleeper sofa with bar in the middle of your back. It is nice not to worry about that. I would give it a higher score, but I feel that one of the main functions of a sleeper sofa is to be a comfotable sofa. It is too stiff and leans forward so you feel like you are going to fall off.”

“We had some problems with shipping. Two out of Three boxes arrived. When I didn't get any updates I contacted them and they said that it showed all boxes arrived. I had to send photos of boxes that arrived so they could send the correct one. Got it quickly. Assembly was easy for me, 65 yrs old and my 74 yr old hubby. One cushion insert for a back cushion was sewn funky. Nothing drastic but you should get what you paid for. The only way to get a new one was for them to ship another box of all the parts that came in that box and then for me to take out the insert and send the rest back. No thanks! It looks find but they need to come up with a better way to deal with problems when it only entails one part of the entire sofa. CUSTOMER SERVICE REP WAS FANTASTIC TO DEAL WITH! Her communications were excellent. Now to the sleeper sofa. It looks great. We are using it in a small bedroom we turned into an office/studio. Easy to open the mattress. The mattress is pretty firm and so is sitting on it when it used as a sofa. I am looking at getting a topper for when it is used as a sleeper.”

“although the bed is comfortable, the sofa is not and the fabric is a magnet for pet hair. when you try to vacuum up the pet hai, the fabric frays. D isappointed, as there were much cheaper options out there”

“We have a son away fun college so his bedroom is now a multipurpose space(ie also my office) yet I wanted something that was comfortable for him when he comes home-our shift sleeper fits the bill exponentially well. It provides very comfortable seating but in a snap becomes a comfy queen bed. Construction/materials are great, it was easy to put together, and the excellent customer service we had was appreciated.”
