“This sofa is a great addition to my home office/guest room. I needed something that was comfortable but didn't take up too much space. We use this room occasionally for watching TV and the kids play video games here, but I also need a bed that's comfy for when a guest stays over. Other pull-out sofas were bulkier and more like futons or with mattresses that didn't provide support. I'm so happy with this purchase!”
“When we remodeled our little bungalow, we knew we need to go with a "couch in a box" to maneuver our narrow doorways. Did the research, and the Nomad sofa was rated the best.
Ordering is easy, and the couch came sooner than we planned. The packaging was terrific; no chance of losing small parts. Color is perfect, and it fits in the space perfectly as well. Surprised and pleased how lightweight it is and easy to move. The assembly points were 95% perfectly aligned - one screw didn't like its hole, and we had to talk to it (smile). Once assembled, it feels sturdy. Will be buying the matching loveseat soon.
Caveats: My husband and I are both handy people; I was a journeyman printer in the day and used to dealing with the vagaries of the physical world. So we probably should have prepared better, meaning studied the instructions in advance, not just the quick guide. Too confident. And our living room is small, and we had to reposition the assembly several times - our bad.
The photos were semi-useful; they were dark without much contrast, and there were details they did not show well. The mechanisms between the pieces are buried when you put them together, so a flashlight came in handy to find and make the final connections. Fortunately, I have small hands and fingers.
The seat cushions are more than firm. And have already bought lumbar cushions for back support.
My advice if you buy one: Read the instructions thoroughly, give yourself enough room to put it together, and understand that there are some limitations to buying this kind of furniture. Overall, we are very pleased and can recommend Burrow and Nomad.”
