“It was difficult to assemble…I wouldn’t have been able to by myself. However that could be user and not the product. It looks very nice and came in sturdy boxes with handles! I did take off the plastic protectors on the legs and replaced them with felt t. Overall very pleased with set.”
“We previously purchased expensive furniture that filled up our room and made it feel weighed down. After looking at several options online, we went with the Burrow Nomad sofa. It offered sophistication and a lighter feel at a fraction of the price. The sofa was generally easy to a assemble (1.75 house by 1 person) but the left arm was very tricky to "lock" into place. The color is also lighter than shown online. We have received lots of compliments on the looks and feel of the sofa. While it is not a super comfy, sink into and watch TV sofa it works for us in a more formal living space.”
“I was living with a couch that can only be described as craptacular. I happened across Burrow online as I was searching for a new, snazzy couch that wouldn't make me embarrassed to invite friends over. Burrow had excellent reviews, and since I live in a second-story apartment, I liked that it came in boxes that I could carry up the stairs, rather than having to haul, or pay someone to haul, a fully assembled couch up. I am also a mechanically-challenged person, but the couch looked like something even someone like me could put together.
The couch arrived even faster than promised. Two of the boxes were a little heavy for me to bring up two flights of stairs, but I got a friend to help.
I sat around for a long time looking at the boxes, because, as I mentioned before, I am mechanically challenged and the prospect of dragging it all out did not thrill me. Finally, my 14-year-old daughter took matters into her own hands and assembled it herself. She did need help with the two bottom locks that hold the arm and back of the seats together. I also couldn't do it, so we enlisted a friend, who had to use a screwdriver to pop them shut.
The couch is beautiful. It's a bit stiff, but I don't mind that so much. We'll probably get some comfy pillows for it to soften it up a bit.
I would 10/10 recommend this couch for ease of assembly, aesthetics and prompt delivery. Burrow has been very thorough in following up to make sure we didn't have any issues or questions, too, so big thumbs up on customer service.
I'll buy from Burrow again. (And yep, I'll let my daughter put it all together again, because it's great life experience for her, and not at all because I am a lazy mother.)”
“I live in the 3rd floor of a house with an outside entrance. Wanted a nice new sofa but didn't want to figure out how to get solid sofa winched up. Also wanted something nice that I could take with me when I leave. Burrow nomad totally fits the bill. It's comfy and very nice looking. Also easy for one person to put together. Highly recommend.”
