“The screen is nice - with good lighting. Negatives - the screw in command sticks are sure to get lost or broken; it can’t lay flat because of the plastic stand in back so it is harder to carry in a backpack; the instructions are not correct (where is the go home button it describes in the instructions?); is there a screen brightness control or volume button? I’m still not sure of the purpose of the protective cover but maybe I don’t understand its purpose or fit.”

Dominic – Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. The stand can very easily be removed if you choose. Simply take out the two hex screws, take off the stand, and then screw those hex screws back in. I am not sure about the home button you mention but we will raise this point with the Autel Robotics time. The "protective cover" isn't really a cover, but really an ergonomic "holder" that makes it easier and more comfortable to grip the Smart Controller. Fly safe!

“BIG and heavy and beautiful bright display and buttons that don't always respond when you depress them and stick placement super far apart and gimbal wheel that is not a great position and feel to me and expensive....kind of like that. Beautiful controller for sure but not for my purposes ended up returning.”

“After reading all the instructions (vague) that came with the smart controller, watching numerous U-Tube videos on it, I figured this thing out. I'm extremely pleased with the performance, range, handling comfort and visability in full sunlight. Only issue I have is with the antennas. They are really flimsy, loose and flop around. When I screw them in securely, they don't both match / line up with each other and I'm afraid to strip the threads to make them line up. Other than that, I love this smart controller !”
