PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
ALEKO according to the Installation Manual the Retractable patio awning should be installed to the wall on 8 Ft height.
In case if you have an obstruction like a light fixture or just do not have the height, you can mount the awning on the roof using this special ceiling brackets.

“We used two brackets for a 10’ awning. If attaching to a wooden structure, you will need to purchase lag screws. We bought 3/4”x3” lags and they worked great.”

“We cannot give a rating for the ceiling bracket, since it never arrived and we haven't been able to install the awning as a result. Submitted an email to the company and they said to wait 24 hours for a reply, but, no reply at 24 hours. We'll see what tomorrow brings.”
