“Does everything it says on the tin. I do wish that it could do a bit more though. Particuarlly being able to turn off the auto close functionality from a switch or app of some variety without having to open up the chasie and reconfigure the board at the hardware level. This would obviously increase cost and complexity, so I get why it's not there. But it would be nice.”

“It's real good but I don't like the gate closing after 40 sec. I like to pre- open my gate for people coming. The original mother's board worked the way I liked it. Thank you....Margie”

“When my board failed, I ordered this replacement. It arrived and I installed it, and everything appeared fine, except the exit wand did not function as before. I contacted the technical support group and talked to the individual and explained the situation. He told me that sometimes if the board is "fried", the exit wand is also damaged. I asked if I should remove the wiring for the wand, but was told that it should be OK and they would send me a wand replacement. Unfortunately, the replacement board failed after about 4 days with the same exact symptoms. Again, I called tech support and was told by a different technician that a damaged wand can overhead the board and cause it to fail, which it obviously did. He arranged to send another control module. In the meantime, I actually purchased a backup wand also. When the replacement wand was received, I dug up the original and was able to put the new wand in and left it exposed. The next day, the replacement control module came in and I was able to replace it and connect up the wand and that seemed to fix the problem. It has now been a week and the system is acting normally. Aleko stood by their products. Sending replacement modules for replacement. I have ordered another wand and will order another control module to have on hand should this occur again. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that sometimes the Technical Support is hard to get connected to. If the message says leave a message and they will get back to you, they never do so just keep trying until you get to a technician.”
