“For me, MT5 is the best platform for execution because it is the only platform that I can easily write my code and use an EA trade helper to enter trades. I use an EA where I have 2 horizontal lines, one line I drag to my Take Profit, the other line I drag to my Stop Loss. Then when I am ready I click a "Buy" or "Sell" button and my EA auto-calculates my position size based on pre-determined risk size. Since I am entering on lower time frames and sometime have to get in very quickly, it makes trading so much easier for me.. and MT5 is the only platform I can do this in, this cleanly and easily, I have tried them all. It really is a simple code also, if you can't code, it would be easy to hire someone to make this code for you or even have ChatGPT write it.. The downside of MT5 is it's not as easy for me to zoom in and out and move around the chart, compared to Tradingview. So I keep two screens open, I watch the market on Tradingview on one screen, and execute on the other screen with MT5. But really, MT5 is a gem!”
