“I have used TS since it’s inception and it was originally state of the art, but that has changed allot in thirty years.
Mulitcharts is a little tough to get acclimated with, but once you do it’s well worth it.
Being 64 Bit it runs rings around 32 Bit TS, making it a mere toy.
Multicharts is what it implies... you can chart just about anything.
Tick, Volume, Range, Seconds, Minutes, etc. and all the other exotic formats can be charted, analyzed and automated in one chart together!
Try that with any of the other vendors?
And as far as back testing, MC utilizes all the cores/threads available and runs back tests in HALF the time of TS.

Multicharts great for trading systems up to the hourly time frame then it starts to be inefficient
What is missing in CQG are the ready-made continuos futures like tradestation does that I have to keep paying for doing analysis and backtesting”
