“Found it a bit difficult ro get into theis terminology like the difference between "bind" and "template" and "pane".
I find VWAP difficult to use as you have to reset the start of the series every day.
Couldn't work with external ASCII database: too cumbersome.
After using it aver quite some time, I feel it works well (with the exceptions above) and has some features other free apps don't have.

“I love Quantower. It has a lot of cool features that I've never gotten to use on any other platform. There is a bit of a learning curve but once your learn the nuances of it, it's one of the best platforms out there in my opinion. I came from Tradingview and have been using Quantower for the past 4 years.
Support for the platform is decent.. They have a discord where you can reach out to support but the response time is hit or miss. They do have several indicators as well but it's not as vast as Tradingview but they get the job done. In their discord they have a market place and a place where people share scripts for free for indicators. I'm a price action trader so I mainly use cumulative delta and the DOM for my trading.
The charts are similar to tradingview in numerous ways but also offer features that are much more indepth when it comes to order flow and volume analysis.
Currently my business partner and I are making a few bots and the platform handles it pretty well. We do wish we had tick by tick backtesting data but I beleive that's because of our data provider being CQG. Hopefully in the future they can make a more robust trading simulator/paper trading system. Right now you can only have 1 account that I know of. I would like to have multiple so we can forward test our bots with separate accounts to compare how they all do on the same asset.
We definitely recommend using Quantower. It's a strong competitor to Ninja Trader in my opinion. Ninja trader is still number 1 but I consider Quantower up there with sierra charts.”
“Really great platform & suport. Just wish a few components could be a bit more customizable! (Delta bars by percent of volume v. set delta #, TPO by sessions, Footprint on volume bars, etc.) Also a few occasional lags in loading but likely on my end and the number of charts I have set.
While throwing stuff out there, wish adding a custom indicator or two was a bit more user friendly as well (not a programmer by any means, can create with ease & AI on TOS & TradingView, but have yet to find a pathway to successfully add same on Quantower w/out extensive research & efforts.
Nonetheless, is my preferred platform!!! (Have about 5 or 6 others utilize but much prefer Quantower above all else!!”
“I think it offers an unbeatable value for AMP Futures Clients. I've been using Quantower as an AMP customer, (used it as binance customer as well so its my main workstation for over 2 years) and I felt compelled to share my experience. While the platform is provided free of charge to AMP clients, I honestly believe the full license specifications offer a value that feels really priceless. It comes with highly customizable workspace to the advanced order flow analysis (range charts, footprint charts, dom is also customizable) and responsive charting package. For traders who are serious about their execution and market analysis, having access to this level of technology without the hefty subscription fee is a massive advantage I guess.
The performance on the other hand is rock solid, and the ability to customize almost every aspect of the display ensures my setup is perfectly tailored to my specific trading strategy.
If you are considering a new platform, look at Quantower. The fact that AMP clearing provides this platform is a significant benefit, and the platform itself is powerful enough to compete with, and often surpass, any "paid" alternative on the market.
