“I started out with TOS then transitioned to QT. Loved it at first but after spending months on this platform, the flaws became blinding. Slow lagging rendering when there's moderate amount of activity (I'm on a fast desktop with a dedicated graphics card), Stop Loss that doesn't show up when specifically enabled as a strategy, fills taking place 20 points above asking price (this one drove me nuts) losing hundreds of dollars at an instant, and customer service that seems out of touch. Not really interested in the problems that I'm witnessing and their favorite line, "I've never seen that before." Drove me nuts dealing with them.
I eventually switched to Ninjatrader and never looked back. If AMP supported Ninjatrader, it would be sublime. Yes, NT has it's own querks, but NONE are show stoppers like in QT. I with QT would get their act together and fix these issues. I sure love their UI. I guess that's life...nothing's perfect.”
“Would appreciate if the resolution of the software is higher, I don't know how to describe but Quantower's interface looks grainy - you can almost see individual pixels. Compared to other platforms like MotiveWave or TradingView with high-resolution interfaces, this one looks noticeably pixelated and low-res.
I would also like the function of always showing the points / ticks / currency that I would lose / gain for the working stop-loss / take profit bracket order. Currently, I can only see the amount I'm risking when I first set up a stop-loss order.”
