“Great platform, but the only issue is the overnight margins for Teton are not in line with other order routing like Rithmic/CQG, i.e. the others are at standard day margin rates during the overnight session, while Teton is at 25% margin which seems punitive. Hope we can this in line soon!”
“Sierra Chart has a steep learning curve, but it's definitely worth it. There are many good videos out there showing you how, and then when you start to understand it yourself, you can build your own chart as you like it.
I've used it for 2 months now, and I feel like I know my way around. I combine it with AMP as my broker, and the only issues I can think of are 2-3 times it has stopped loading the data mid-session. Another thing is that the commissions seem a bit higher than it shows on the calculator. I trade the ES, and I pay 4.30 USD for a full round trip in commissions per contract; the calculator shows that it should cost 3.80 USD for a full round trip.”
