“I use a very simple strategy with price levels and alerts.
TV is perfect for what I do, if there’s 1 complaint it would be there customer support. They tend to be slow and seem to be outsourced to people that don’t know the product very well.
For troubleshooting purposes you’re better off going on YouTube or Reddit and searching for your own solution.
Other than that it’s perfect.”
“Hello AMP. 1st, Pine Code is much more user friendly than the others. BUT for some reason Trading View deliberately limits the real life usefullness.
Too few back test Bars, esp on shorter time frames. My God, there is only 1 week worth of 15 seconds.
Terrible 'Alert' ability. You cannot use your code control panel while the Alerts are active.
Your 'code' is not allowed to know if your actual order filled or not. These are arbitrary limits imposed for no good purpose.
Minor stuff; they are constantly tweaking useless stuff that is simply annoying. e.g. the most basic "save as" function for the code is now a mess. You now have all these 'versions'. Again, no usefull purpose served by all this changing little stuff. e.g. the new 'version 6'. No actual REAL improvement. Just some syntax junk.
Thank you again for caring, Brad Gunn”
“Great indicators, perfect service in case of problems or questions. I learned a lot by using trading view. And of course really good to use and I don't need to download any software - access anywhere!”
“TradingView itself is great. When logging into Amp futures it regularly logs out and I have to log back in, which is not helpful when in an open position”
“By far the best trading platform.
1) Many brokers you can use
2) Improved UI for trading, which prevents accidentally entering into a trade
Improvement:
1) Does not provide enough candles for backtesting when going to lower time frames. Rather annoying”
