“Preliminary review. This is replacing a cheap barrel (bought elsewhere) that was no go on my go gauge with a Brownells BCG. This Faxon barrel is about 1/2 pound lighter and headspaces properly with my stripped bolt. It’s also slightly longer overall than the other barrel of same nominal length. Haven’t fired yet but I’m not that good, so ask someone else about precision. I’m building with an adjustable gas block because Faxon tends to spec big gas ports and that’s just how I build.”
