“Excellent receiver! Machined in USA by Aero Precision in Tacoma Washington. Aero Precision is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) supplier for AR15 components. The company is also an engineering subcontractor that manufactures the highest quality aerospace components and one of their largest customers is Boeing. The Aero Precision receiver is forged from 7075-T6 Aluminum, precision machined to military specifications, has M4 feed ramps, hard coat black anodized to military specification MIL-A-8625F Type 3 Class 2 Black, .250 takedown pin bores, marked T2-T12 x 2's in the rail slots. The receiver has a splintered "A" on the right side indicating the forging company. Monmouth Reloading kept me informed through the entire purchasing/shipping process via e-mail and is an outstanding company to do business with. They are second to none and have some of the lowest prices on the web for Aero Precision, VG6 and Ballistic Advantage.
