“Aero products are always high quality and this is no exception. Perfect for any big-bore build. It worked out nicely since I'm using this for a 458 build. The enlarged port is perfect and is handled prior to anodizing (unlike some competitors). If you are building a thumper, this is the upper you need. Good luck!”
“Slightly thicker than a regular upper receiver, so the charging handle required a bit of grease and oil to get it in and smooth it out. Bolt carrier fit was snug, but smooth. Barrel nut went on fine with the normal amount of grease. I bought this for a 9mm build, so I don't like the big .458 stamp on top of the receiver, but I understand why they did it. Overall, happy.”
“High quality manufacture. All parts fitted and functional. Ejection port is larger than that of a std. AR15 upper. Noted that Aero Precision .4358/.450 uppers are marked XL at back of rail, but this one was marked .458. The marking is rubbing off, not durable. Other than that it is a good piece.”
