“I am very excited about Monmouth's new product offering! As one who was a little skeptical at first, I want to be the first to say don't be. Here's what I found. First, the weight consistency is great. In groups of five (max the scale could measure) and individually I checked a few dozen bullets. From the sampling recorded weight was plus or minus 1 grain of 230gr. On average groups of five bullets were practically spot on at 1,150 grains. Heck I one time bought a batch of 115gr 9mm jacketed "pull downs" that had worse weight consistency. Next I grabbed a pair of calipers and checked bullet diameter. Every single bullet came in at .452"! Last check was appearance. The copper plating finish is slick with a nice polished surface while the bullet's overall shape and form is nice. Exactly what you expect from a reputable plated bullet manufacture. To add I like how the bullet base has a sharper rounded edge. Gives a nice definition between bearing surface and the base. The round nose has a good profile as well. Would be difficult to tell the difference when compared to a traditional jacketed bullet of the same specification. Compared to other brands I am more than happy to load, shoot, and buy more Arm or Ally bullets. For most of what I do with pistols, which is chucking range fodder at paper targets, I couldn't be happier. As a result, I look forward to purchasing Monmouth's 115gr 9mm Arm or Ally offering next! Get out and shoot!”
