“The projectiles look great but they are not accurate. Precision load details went into every case and load and the results were 3" plus groups at 100 yards. Same gun, same day, and same precision load details with serveral other brand projectiles were giving me .75" to 1.25" groups at 100 yards out of my AR-15. These will be plinking projectiles for me as the accuracy is not adequite for anything else. The cannelaure sits further down on the base so you have to load the COAL at 2.240 to use the crimp. Set at 2.200 you cannot crimp these projectiles and the accuracy was the same at both COAL. If you are looking for accuracy with a similar consturcted projectile as these just buy the Hornady 55gr FMJ-BT W/C and save yourself the frustration of trying to build a accurate load with the Arm or Ally projectiles.”
Hi David, High Accuracy, Cheap Price, Great Appearance....you can only choose two! If it looks great and has a high accuracy, it won't be cheap! If it has a high accuracy and, cheap price, it won't look great!
The Hornady 55 FMJ is a great projectile, but Hornady and their distributors have significantly raised the price in the last 18-24 months, which has made room for new manufacturers to bring a more affordable projectile to the market to fill the demand of customers looking to keep shooting, affordably.
Thanks for taking the time to write about your experience with these projectiles. Happy Shooting!
“Have not got to shoot any of these yet, but they measure and weigh out great, quality looks great too. I have no reason to not expect great results with them. Will definitely be buying more.”
