Ballistic Advantage 223 Wylde Premium Black Series 20 DMR Rifle Length Stainless Steel Barrel Reviews

4.8 Rating 4 Reviews
The barrel (I don't remember what brand it was but I do know it wasn't ballistic advantage) on the DMR I built was shooting about like a smooth bore shotgun with a cyber choke. I tried many different brands of ammo and varying bullet weights plus my reloads and nothing worked. I was having a difficult time keeping the bullet holes inside an eight inch circle at 100 yards. I knew it wasn't me because I shoot 5/8 of an inch @ 100 yards all day long with the AR-10/ LR308 6.5 Creedmore with a Ballistic Advantage barrel I built. After an extensive examination of my gun I narrowed down my accuracy problem to the barrel. That's when I came here to Arm or Ally and bought their 20 inch .223 wylde 1:8 twist Ballistic Advantage DMR barrel. Ballistic Advantage makes great barrels! Now I'm shooting one MOA with Wolf Gold 55 grain FMJ. That bullet is a little light for this twist rate. Im excited to see what my home rolled 77 grain OTM's are going do! Update to follow.

Great product. And a very accurate barrel. Feed rams stick out causing jams but a little sanding will do it good

Only put about 100 rounds through it so far. Using cheapo ammo, it still shoots very well. Definitely not sub-MOA, but it's a new barrel, and as I mentioned, cheapo ammo. I'm pleased with the results so far. Probably need a couple hundred more rounds to evaluate full potential. I would recommend this product. For the price, it seems to be a great shooter.
