“I had been eyeballing this 16" ultra slim profile barrel from BA for a long time, and when I saw it for almost $100 less than BA sells it for on their site, I had to swoop on it! I love the fact that it comes with a gas block, which saves me a few sawbucks at least! The only problem, and it's probably my fault, but I did not find the pin that is supposed to install in the gas block once the barrel nut is screwed on. I emailed BA and am awaiting the spec on the pin so I can replace it myself.
As for the barrel itself, the finish is beautiful, and the quality seems to be top notch. I plan to make it the centerpiece for an ultra light build I am working on, and will probably go with a 12" handguard vs a 15" just to show it off a bit.
