“This barrel was purchased for a .300Blackout pistol build. It had nice clean lines and the muzzle crown, chamber and rifling all looked very clean as well. The first few shots through the barrel generated 1”ish groups at 50 yards with SSA Norma made ammo that uses a 220gr Sierra rounded ballistic tip that is advertised to have subsonic expansion. I was using a small red dot too as my sight and I had a can attached to the end. After my 50yard zero I jumped to 100 yards and drilled a 66% IPSC repetitively. As a side note, a friend build a pistol with the 9” version of this barrel and used supers that were 124gr BTHPs and they were shooting well under 1” at 50 yards. He too was running a red dot. He also wore out my 66% IPSC at 200 yards with ease.”
“One of very few 300blk barrels with 5R rifling and 1:7 twist. I did have to dimple it for a set screw gas block. I’m debating whether or not to crown it. Shoots true for it’s length in both light and heavy grain.”
