“This barrel does its job. I have not spent hours at the range but what I have aimed at after bore sighting I have hit. The length is good for a handy rifle and swings very good. I have had no malfunctions as of yet.”
“There’s not a lot out there in this barrel so hopefully this review will help someone else out. I was turned on the BA barrels by a knowledgeable acquaintance who has had great luck with them. The “3 gunner” barrel at 17.7” mates up perfectly with my 17” hand guard. Of course a 15” will work just fine as well. It’s relatively light weight and so far seems plenty accurate. Once I have the permanent optic mounted I’ll be able to see what she can do. For and finish is really nice, the M4 feed ramps are done well. Coolest thing about this barrel was getting a nice barrel complete with gas block that is already drilled, just waiting for you to pin it upon assembly (pin is included). Priced moderately as well. Gassing seems to be about right. Not the absolute softest shooting mid length barrel I’ve ever handled but feels pretty normal. I suppose a fancy muzzle brake would help but those are quite noisy. I think for the price these are hard to beat.”
