“My experience with the Elander 6.8 SPC magazines has been a real let down so far. I looked over many reviews about these before my purchase and was convinced that the Elander was the best and worth the extra cost. After trying to load all five of these to the max of 24 rounds, I found that the rounds would not feed properly. The full mag was nearly impossible to insert into a closed bolt rifle (I own a JP SCR-11 and another brand). If I inserted a full mag into an open bolt, they seated perfectly, but the first round would not strip from the lips correctly and would jam the bolt. This was the same on both of my rifles with factory ammo and hand loads. They seemed to jam somewhere above the spring and upon stripping 1 or 2 rounds, several more would simply fall out loosely. Seems like I can load to about 20 rounds and have some success, but I need more time with them to be sure. Maybe they break in? Sad.”
