“The claim is that this trigger has "just a little bit of creep". You will definitely notice that creep. It's not a gritty, unrefined creep. It's actually the kind of creep I want on a duty trigger -- giving you that little bit of "maybe not" time. I was hoping to use this trigger as a Hike & Shoot trigger, though, where there are a number of unsupported and off-hand shots I need to take. For this, I need a trigger that is predictable. I found in my first uses of this trigger, I'd go to pull the trigger as my POA rolled over the intended POI and the trigger would creep, not break. Then the next time it would creep AND break. There's this itsy bitsy little bit of lacking predictability that turns this into a trigger I don't want to use. I found myself zeroing the rifle at the bench thinking it was going to shoot and it didn't about 30% of the time. I realize you aren't supposed to be anticipating the break, but I need to be able to get a feel for where that break is for my use case and I just couldn't with this particular example. I downgraded its use case to a 300 BLK defensive build where it will be a perfect fit. Perhaps I should have gotten the Reflex trigger, but my impression of Hiperfire's product descriptions now are that I need to be more skeptical. "Just a little bit of creep" on the Elite is "a good amount of smooth, non-gritty creep with a very carrot-like break".”
“Installation of the AR15 Hipertouch elite Trigger was pretty easy. I did watch the video from Hiperfire on installation of the trigger. The trigger pull over the factory trigger was a huge improvement. I went from a factory trigger pull of 6-1/2 lbs. to about a 3-1/2 lbs. pull for the Hipertouch trigger. The trigger pull was real smooth. I was well pleased with everything.”
