“I've always used regular buffer springs and have never thought about the noise they make every time you shoot. Now that I've been using the silent captured spring, every time I shoot someone elses AR with a regular spring, it's so noticeable and loud. Definitely worth it. It's also nice not needed the buffer retaining pin. It's already under tension, you just out it in your buffer tube and done. I'm using mine in a rifle length tube.”
