“Not as refined as the 300BLK X95, but close. The gas selector is mislabeled per IWI's own admission. Position III is labeled "Suppressed" but the reality is the setting has more to do with subsonic rounds than whether or not a suppressor is attached. Fired M80 and Hornady 168g with and without suppressor, on Normal setting, and the gun ran fine. Tried S&B 200g subsonic, and none of the rounds fired, regardless of gas piston setting. Still experimenting with which ammo works and which doesn't.
If using anything other than a forward-flow suppressor, expect beard fires when shooting suppressed. It's bad. I put an OSS (pre-HUX) can on and the jet engine exhaust blasting the right cheek went away.
I actually wanted the OD Green version, but at the time of purchase, only FDE was in stock at the cheaper price. Now, they're all cheaper. If you don't have a 7.62NATO/.308WIN, get this. If you already have a .308WIN rifle, get an X95 in 300BLK before they're no longer available.”
“Awesome rifle as expected but after trying 3 types of rounds (wolf 145gr, M80 ball 149gr and Nosler 168gr) the one that performed the best shot group is the M80 ball. I'm guessing IWI designed it for war ammo stock in mind.”
